About Kudu Health
Kudu Health empowers providers, patients, and policymakers with a secure, offline-capable, and interoperable digital health platform aligned to national standards.
About Kudu Health
Kudu Health is a digital health infrastructure company enabling secure, interoperable, and scalable health systems. Serving primary and secondary care with plans to scale to tertiary care, our offline-first solution connects patients, providers, insurers, and governments through shared standards, trusted identities, and secure data exchange. Our work supports continuity of care, efficient health financing, and evidence-based decision-making. Kudu Health is built on the belief that strong health systems require strong digital foundations.
What We Do
Rather than replacing existing hospital or insurance systems, Kudu Health connects them — allowing governments and institutions to modernize healthcare delivery without disruption.
Unified patient identity across facilities and systems
Secure exchange of health data using international standards
Digitized and standardized health insurance claims workflows
Verified registries for health facilities and healthcare workers
Consent-driven access, privacy protection, and full auditability
Designed for National Scale
Kudu Health provides a scalable, secure, and adaptable digital health platform that connects millions of users and stakeholders. Designed for diverse policies and technologies, it ensures reliable, compliant care delivery, especially reaching underserved and remote communities.
Standards, Security, and Trust
Interoperability and trust are at the core of Kudu Health. Our platform follows global digital health standards, with built-in patient consent, role-based access, encryption, and audit trails, ensuring regulatory compliance while protecting patient rights and institutional accountability.
Our Story
Kudu Health was founded to address a fundamental challenge in Nigeria’s healthcare system. Through extensive hands-on experience working with primary and secondary healthcare facilities across Nigeria, our team observed a recurring failure in many digital health initiatives: systems designed to modernize care often broke down at the most critical moments during network outages, leaving clinicians without access to patient information and forcing a return to paper records. Our offline-first platform keeps patient records, workflows, and essential services accessible at all times, securely storing data locally and syncing seamlessly when connectivity is restored. It is built in alignment with Nigeria’s National Digital Health Architecture and the National Enterprise Architecture framework to ensure compatibility with national health priorities.
The Challenge
Digital health systems in Nigeria often fail during network outages and lack interoperability, limiting continuity of care and coordination across providers, insurers, and government institutions. Kudu Health solves this with offline functionality, secure local storage, seamless synchronization, and full interoperability, enabling smooth use across all healthcare levels and key stakeholders.
